Share your SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities film on SDG.VISION

We welcome films about any action that makes communities more sustainable — whether it’s neighbourhood improvements, planning for the future, protecting local nature, building social connection, or preparing for climate impacts.

What you can submit

• Youth Action films:

  • Under 1 minute (ideal for social media)

  • Up to 3 minutes (a fuller story)

• Longer films are welcome too — we’ll feature them on SDG.VISION and link them clearly to SDG 11 content.

• Affordable, safe housing and homelessness prevention

• Community planning, neighbourhood plans, local visioning, civic participation

• Active travel and safe streets: walking, cycling, accessibility improvements

• Public transport, shared mobility, low-emission zones, safer routes to school

• Green spaces, parks, community gardens, tree planting, urban nature recovery

• Heritage and culture: protecting local character, arts, community history projects

• Community hubs: libraries, halls, warm spaces, youth centres, local services

3. Include (if you can): film title, your name/organisation, location, and a 1–2 sentence summary of the action and impact.

We may also invite you to a podcast conversation with Pierre (SDG.VISION Director) to explore your community work in more depth and help others learn from it.
