SDG 11 — Sustainable Cities and Communities
Sustainable cities and communities are built through everyday choices — how we plan housing, protect nature, move around, care for heritage, reduce waste, prepare for climate risks, and ensure everyone belongs. SDG 11 is about making places safe, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable — from big cities to small towns and rural villages. This SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities page on SDG.VISION shares films and stories of practical action — led by young people, residents, community groups, councils, designers, and local organisations — improving places in real life.
If you’re helping your community become safer, greener, fairer, or more resilient, your story can inspire others.

help other places replicate what works

strengthen partnerships between communities, councils, and organisations
attract volunteers, supporters, and practical expertise
celebrate progress and inspire long-term care for place
