SDG 12 — Responsible Consumption and Production
SDG 12 is about how we make, buy, use, and dispose of things — and how to do that in ways that protect people and planet. It’s about cutting waste, designing for reuse and repair, reducing pollution, improving supply chains, and supporting businesses and communities that value fairness and sustainability. This SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production page on SDG.VISION shares films and stories of practical action — led by young people, communities, social enterprises, retailers, makers, councils, and innovators — showing how everyday choices and smarter systems can reduce harm and increase wellbeing.
If you’re reducing waste, changing habits, improving production, or building circular solutions, your story can inspire others.

Because sustainable choices become normal when people can see them working. A short film can:
show simple, affordable ways to cut waste and save money
help communities copy initiatives like repair cafés and reuse hubs
encourage businesses to adopt circular, ethical models
build partnerships across schools, councils, and local organisations
celebrate practical progress — one habit and one system change at a time
