SDG 8 — Decent Work and Economic Growth

Good jobs don’t happen by accident. They’re built through fair pay, safe conditions, opportunity, training, inclusion, and local economies that work for people and planet. SDG 8 is about decent work for all — including young people — alongside responsible, sustainable economic growth that doesn’t exploit workers or damage communities. This SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth page on SDG.VISION shares films and stories of practical action — led by young people, businesses, social enterprises, colleges, unions, community groups, and local leaders — improving work, skills, and livelihoods in real life.

If you’re creating fair opportunities, supporting local jobs, training the next generation, or improving workplace wellbeing, your story can inspire others.

  • Youth-led projects on careers, skills, and pathways into work

  • Stories from social enterprises and purpose-led businesses
